SOUND DESIGN:

HALO 4 GAMEPLAY CLIP MONTAGE:

This video showcases gameplay clips from Halo 4. All of the voice processing and sound effects featured in this video were done by me while working onsite at 343 Industries. I implemented all of these sounds using a combination of Wwise and proprietary tools. I also processed, implementated, debugged, and baked sound effects into much of the rest of the voice over in the game.

Aside from the sounds featured in this video I was also the mixing engineer for all of the downloadable Spartan Ops missions that released with the game, and I did the majority of the optimization for weapons and the game’s Wwise project. I also setup and debugged the music for the Spartan Ops missions.

FABLE THE JOURNEY AMBIENCES:

This video features gameplay clips from Fable: The Journey, displaying some of the ambiences I created. Any sounds in this video that are not ambience related were not done by me, and should be ignored (including but not limited to footsteps, horse sounds, cart sounds etc). 

I created all of the ambient sounds featured in this video while working at Microsoft Game Studios Sound Lab. I implemented all of the ambient sounds using a combination of Wwise and the Unreal Engine. I also did ambient field recording for the water and rivers shown in this video, as well as rain which was not featured here. I did content and implementation for all of the ambiences for nearly two thirds of the maps in this game.

STAR WARS KINECT GAMEPLAY CLIP MONTAGE:

This video shows gameplay clips from Star Wars Kinect. I created and implemented all of the sound effects heard in this video while working at Microsoft Game Studios Sound Lab using a combination of Wwise and the Infernal Engine’s toolset. Any sounds that I did not create have been removed from this video.

GRIPTONITE GAME STUDIOS GAMEPLAY CLIP MONTAGE:

This video features gameplay clips from three of the games I worked on at Griptonite Games. I created and implemented all of the sounds heard in this video. See below for more details on each game:

KUNG FU PANDA 2 (Xbox 360 Kinect, PS3, Wii UDraw Tablet, Nintendo DS)

The first segment of this video features three of the special attacks from Kung Fu Panda 2 Kinect.  Aside from sounds heard here, I also created and implemented a number of other character and cinematic sounds for this game not featured in this video.  Sounds were implemented using FMOD, LUA scripting, Maya, and other proprietary tools.

CAPTAIN AMERICA: SUPER SOLDIER (Nintendo DS)

The second section of this video highlights a few of the cinematic sequences in Captain America DS.  I created, managed, and implemented all audio for this game in its entirety, including managing outsourced music and voice over.  Sounds were implemented using Maya and proprietary tools.

MARVEL SUPER HERO SQUAD: INFINITY GAUNTLET (Xbox 360, PS3, Wii)

The final section of this video displays a few of the physics based sounds from Marvel Super Hero Squad: The Infinity Gauntlet. All audio other than the physics based sounds were removed from this section of the video in order to highlight these sounds. I implemented these sounds using FMOD, LUA scripting, and Maya. My responsibilities included creation and implementation of all physics based sounds for the game, as well as a variety of FX, character, and ambient sounds that are not shown here.
